On a store, speed is money
In a Google and Deloitte study of 30 million sessions, a 0.1-second improvement in mobile load time raised retail conversions by 8.4% and average order value by 9.2%.
WooCommerce is heavy by nature — cart, sessions, filters, plugins — so those tenths of a second are exactly where it leaks. We close the leaks without touching what makes your store work.

Will caching break my cart?
No. We exclude cart, checkout and account from the cache by rule, so no customer ever sees a stale price or someone else’s basket. The speed comes from everything around those pages — not from cutting corners on them.
How it works
Why WooCommerce is slow — and what we actually change
Speed isn’t one switch. On a store it’s four specific things done in the right order, without breaking the dynamic parts.
The dynamic pages can’t be cached
Cart and checkout run PHP on every hit. We tune object cache, transients and sessions so those pages stay lean instead of dragging the whole store down.
The database quietly bloats
Expired transients, autoloaded options and abandoned sessions pile up. We clean them and index the queries WooCommerce actually runs on every page.
Plugins and scripts weigh on every page
Each add-on loads its CSS and JS everywhere, even where it’s unused. We cut what product pages don’t need and defer the rest, without breaking features.
The media ships full-size
Shop photos often load at full resolution. We compress them and serve modern formats (WebP/AVIF) at the right size for each device.
The honest comparison
Us vs a speed plugin vs doing it yourself
| What matters | Millisecondi | A generic speed plugin | DIY / generic agency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cart & checkout caching | Excluded by rule — never cached | Often caches dynamic pages, showing stale carts | Easy to misconfigure |
| Where we look first | We measure LCP, INP and CLS on home, category, product and checkout | One set of global settings | Guesswork, page by page |
| Database (transients, sessions, autoload) | Cleaned, with the slow queries indexed | Rarely touched | Risky to edit by hand |
| Proof | Before/after report, mobile and desktop | None | Rarely measured |
| What could break | We test cart, coupons, shipping and payments after | Can break layout or scripts | Unknown until a customer hits it |
| When it’s not worth it | We tell you and stop | Sells you the upgrade | Bills the hours |

The proof
We hand over the numbers, before and after
No opinions: you get a Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals report for mobile and desktop, so you can see exactly what moved.
“Checkout stopped stalling on mobile and our abandoned carts dropped.”
“Product pages went from six seconds to under two. Sales followed.”
“Black Friday traffic did not take the shop down this year.”
“Same hosting plan, half the load time. I did not expect that.”
“The cart updates instantly now instead of freezing on every click.”
“Google finally stopped flagging our Core Web Vitals.”
“Clear updates, fair price, no surprises at the end.”
“Answers quickly and explains things without hiding behind jargon.”
No blind trust required
What we commit to
- A full backup before we touch anything — we can always roll back
- A before/after report with real numbers, on mobile and desktop
- If a metric doesn’t move, we don’t claim it — and if it isn’t worth doing, we tell you before you pay
FAQ
The questions we get most
Will the cart still work with caching on?+
Yes. We exclude the dynamic pages — cart, checkout, account — from caching, so no customer ever sees someone else’s data.
Does it work with my theme or page builder (Elementor, Divi)?+
Yes. We optimise around the builder rather than replacing it. Some builders add real weight; where that’s the bottleneck we show you the numbers and the trade-off.
How much faster will it get?+
It depends on the starting point. On stores that were never optimised we often see load times more than halved. We measure yours first, so the target is real, not a promise.
Do I need to change host?+
Not necessarily. We optimise what’s there first. If the server is the bottleneck, we tell you with the data in hand — a migration is a separate call, not an upsell.
How do you measure the result?+
Lighthouse plus real field data (Core Web Vitals), before and after, on mobile and desktop. You get the numbers, not an opinion.
When is it NOT worth it?+
With low traffic and a store already under two seconds, the return is small: better to invest in product or traffic. We’ll say so rather than take the job.
Ready when you are
Start with a free audit, then decide
Leave us your store address. We measure it and send back the 3-5 changes that move the needle, in priority order — and an honest note if it isn’t worth doing.
- Optimisation of the queries and database typical of WooCommerce (cart, sessions, transients)
- Caching built for e-commerce, with cart, checkout and account always excluded
- Product images compressed and served in a modern format (WebP/AVIF)
- Fewer plugins and scripts weighing down product pages
- A before/after report with Core Web Vitals on mobile and desktop
If the slowdown is the server, not the store, a zero-downtime migration.
